Research Agenda: Dual Enrollment in Michigan

Input on this research agenda was shaped by a cross-sector group spanning Michigan’s K–12, higher education, and college access ecosystems. Participants included statewide higher-ed leadership through the Michigan Community College Association (MCCA), research and university partners from Michigan State University (MSU) and the University of Michigan, and policy/advocacy organizations such as the Michigan College Access Network (MCAN) and Education Trust–Midwest. Staff from several State agencies – including the Center for Educational Performance and Information (CEPI) and the Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP)—contributed a data and implementation lens, while national and philanthropic perspectives were represented by The Joyce Foundation and The Institute for College Access & Success (TICAS), alongside strategic advising support from Foresight Law and Policy (FLP) Advisors.
