Adam Zemke is the president of Launch Michigan. For over a decade, Adam has been working to improve educational opportunities for children. He most recently served as global manager of STEAM education at Ford Motor Company, and previously as a three-term member of the Michigan House of Representatives, representing Washtenaw County’s 55th District.
While a member of the House of Representatives, Adam served in multiple caucus leadership roles, including as chair of the House Democratic caucus, as Democratic vice-chair of the Education/Education Reform Committee, and as a member of the Appropriations Subcommittee on School Aid.
Adam holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University, where he was first inspired by the power of project and experiential learning through the Formula SAE program. As a member of the legislature, he worked heavily on expanding project and place-based learning opportunities for Michigan children, as well as increasing literacy and professional learning supports for Michigan educators. In 2019, he was appointed by Governor Gretchen Whitmer to serve on the MiSTEM Council.
Adam lives in his hometown of Ann Arbor with his wife, Kelly, and their cat Emma. In his free time, he enjoys working on old cars and spending time boating on Michigan’s many lakes and waterways.
Lindsay Case Palsrok
Lindsay Case Palsrok is the executive director of Launch Michigan. She brings a wealth of experience gained during her eight years at the Detroit Regional Chamber and, previously, as a legislative aide and as a public policy assistant for the Michigan Association of Realtors. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University and an MBA from the Broad College of Business at Michigan State University.
A fellow of the Michigan Political Leadership Program and a policy fellow of the Center for Health and Research Transformation, Lindsay also was a member of the Grand Ledge school board from 2008 to 2011.
Born and raised in Michigan’s upper peninsula, Lindsay maintains a highly active lifestyle. She had her husband Dave share five children and a dog, Rodger. They live in East Lansing.
Renee Brunette is the operations manager for Launch Michigan. Previously, Renee served as office manager for two Michigan Senate Majority Leaders for a combined three years. Prior to her time in the Senate, Renee spent six years as the scheduling and events coordinator for Kelley Cawthorne. With nearly ten years working in state government relations, Renee brings her experiences in administration, fundraising, networking, and management to the Launch Michigan team.
Renee enjoys being outdoors on the water or skiing through the mountains of Colorado. She finds joy in staying active and spending time with family and friends. She lives in Clarkston with her boyfriend and golden retriever, Sailor.
